if you look carefully theres a few examples in the Insim.NET thread, on some page, i found it really help full, yes you can make buttons its really simple to do,
example would be

ive acctually just switched over to Insim.NET now ive given up with LFS_External its to old and full of bugs, i recommend you do the same, insim.NET is very similar to LFS_External, + its updated with the latest packets and has next too no bugs.
I recently switched over to InSim.NET and i must say its really simple to use.

IMO id start with InSim.NET, you cant just "ask" for an insim you have to learn like the rest of us, i started with the original LFS_External Example and worked my way up, that was in 2009, but now that LFS_External is no longer supported by LFS, i finnaly made the switch to Insim.NET and everything is alot better.
would someone be able to tell me what this means breifly
i think its coming from MCI, im having issues with CompCar Speed, bassicly the insim just dissconnects after a certain amount of seconds, and that is in the log

Yeap tottaly agree there, ive tried insim.NET also, i just cant get the hang of it im so used to LFS_External lol, but aye i LFS_External still works for the most part, just a few little things that need to be fixed in the base for the person willing to do it (i don't think there is anyone lol), i have one of my mates that's going through it to see if he can fix the MSO bug ill let you guys know if he succeeds.
You dont have to remove it, Mr.Sam just didnt know it was free to use.
I dont have any issues with getconnidx or idx2, then again i re-writ it as the original code had a few mistakes in it, but that really has nothing to do with the lfs_external base, i suggest you do the same
Also has anyone noticed that MSO doesnt work properly since 1.1.1.7? like if a message is to long it doesnt show? same thing happends with buttons to, ive looked at the LFS_External source but everything matches the insim.txt so idk
Well maybe Dean just went in hiding, maybe he just didn't want to do 500 servers no more but also didn't want to refund, i find that hard to believe why hes done this but maybe things caught up to him we just don't know.

i wish someone would do somthing about this idiot frozen i am sick and tired of having to clean up and help people hes tryed to cheat, the mods wont do crap about it either. its sad LFS is going this way but oh well.
this will be the first and last time i help you, that error means you have something set wrong in the setup.cfg in other words it cant find what you set it to connect to. make sure the server you have the insim set to connect to is running and that you can connect to that server, also if you change directory names you need to tell the code where to look.

yeap agreed, we try to host all types of races to separate them.
but also i want to point out somthing to what got this thread started, normally we keep to our selfs, TC is one of them i dont think ive ever seen anything about them. but occationally you get a douche bag that comes along making everyone rage, in my teams case we let a person into our team that was decising who he was and ran off with the insim which i have now released in the programmers section of LFS. But when you try to be all private about it doing everything you possibly can and they dont listen it frustrates you. so you vent on the forums. we dont want trouble. but we think everyone desrves to know about these sort of people.

UC is no small community were quite big acctually with over 10,000 user accounts on record, not all of them active., but also again why should we have to suffer from some stupid idiot who has idk how many lfs accounts has been known for scamming. its a damn right shame.

nope i refuse to ive tried doing that. gets no where. but as ive just been told ive got nothing to be worried about cause UC's true fans and cruisers will stay out of IC and theres alot of them.

mhmm is UC shut down? no so stop posting stuff from when you were in our team AND before i knew you were kevin. exactly as i said IF dan decided to shut uc down THEN you may use the insim but UC isnt and its still uc's always will be. but seeing as you think its alright to use it. ive put something in the auto message cue about IC dont forget our server is full daily. but until you stop using the insim that message wont come off and its legit to it says: INFO:IC Cruise is using our insim for there server without permission. if you see an IC member in UC pls contact one of the admins. you wanna use it go for it but UC wont back down until you stop using it.

yea how about you get your own reputation and not take it from another team, im going to ask you one more time nicely kevin , please stop using our insim we DID NOT give you permission to use it for YOUR SERVER, it was givin to you for deving purposes when you were hosting our server not anything else.

enduro insim had nothing in it but a bare base
and persides those insim's were not related to our CRUISE server the main insim.

oh rlly? and i told you that was for deving purposes cause you wouldnt stop nagging me? this is why we got rid of you out of our team cause you were annoying that and your kevin and i couldnt have accsess to my own server when you were hosting, you lied to me by covering up your self faking your from greece when your from spain, and then because im all stressed about this you copy the insim source code to your desktop because you thought i was going to shut UC down. yea kevin real mature. well GL with our insim its obvious you cant get any people without using other peoples work.

id like to mention for all new people out there that want to get into coding NEVER let anyone code for you. as i was told by many people i know boy was i a stupid one. it either ends up like this, or you spend hours trying to think of what to do because some heartless person takes your teams insim. sadly theres nothing we can do. but if UC shuts down in the near future. all our cruisers know who to blame.

i agree, but as weve tried to keep this personal for a while as nothing has happend except people coming into UC asking us why UC and IC are identical with insims what are we to tell them? , i would go to the lfs dev's but what can they do? all i want is for them not to use our insim we didnt give them permission to use it, and ive told him all this, pleading with him not to use it but, what he said to me was "if we stop using UC's insim IC will be dead again"
ive tried everything only thing left to do after being nice and keeping his secret was to come here because theres nothing else we can do.
and again if this is in the wrong section we are sorry we didnt exactly know where to put it.

if this is in the wrong place then a modarator can move it, we are done doing pm's, weve tried mutiple times to sort this but kevin doesnt listen and now a good team has to suffer cause no one seems to care. what ever the outcome is i just want IC to gain there own rep not steal it off someone else who started with nothing and built theres up. everything was peacefull kevin has been trying to get uc's insim for the last year i let my guard down for 1 minute and its gone amazing aye
