I Agree !
(not gonna beat myself to death. But i'll help ya ! )
I mostly mess around on servers with a lot of different cars and citydriving servers.
LFS Tweak was loads of fun.
I'd LOVE to put a V10 engine in the MRT
If the test in Windows works correctly go to LFS, you can recalibrate the Axis in LFS in the controller menu(go to the axis settings and use one of the bottom options. You can use the pedals inversed by clicking the invert button next to the action. Works like a charm here (Sidewinder FF USB)
The only thing i dislike about Cops and Robbers is something due to LFS.
When you hit the barriers, you fly up hundreds of meters in the air. Pretty nasty bug.
And Ray, if you make it impossible to pit, you won't be able to change cars / setups / skins and repair you car, you'd at least need a real pit to repair...
I was reading this thread because I have a MS wheel as well (a Sidewinder Force Feedback USB).
I'd like to have seperate pedals zo i tried the driver from the technikteam site.
It installs nicely. and in the test function i do have seperate pedals which move fluidly.
But in LFS, no matter what calibration i trie, throttle is working great, but the break pedal has only 3 options, off, on or halfway.
The new driver doesn't have a calibration option either
Any idea's ?
Im using a Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback. I love it ! great response, perfect build quality (Ms can do Something right ) Win XP integrated Drivers. nice size.
I'd love a nasty handling huge power Musle Car as wel.
But I'd LOVE a motorbike. Would be hard, but might be a challenge for the devs as well. (a 2 and a 4 cylinder 4 stroke 1000 CC please ! )
Real existing cars are tough to get a license on, so I don't think that's gonna happen any time soon.
I read Vintage cars earlier on, that'd be a laugh as well.
