The G25 is built pretty beefy, its all metal inside, so no it shouldn't hurt it. But, the brake pedal really needs about a 3/4"-1" pad on it to raise it up enough for heel-toeing.

If you have a DFP or G25, set it to 900, both in profiler, and LFS, and turn wheel compensation to 1.0. This will give all cars their lock as what they are supposed to be. Without ever having to change anything. As far as FFB is concerned, I use 100 in profiler and 125 in game. Other than that, smoothness is key with the FO8, and making sure you're not cranking on it full lock every corner, this will make it plow like a pig in, then want to spin around when you give it gas on the way out.

Your braking and initial turn in seems to be alot of it. You're to cautious onto the brakes at speed, when you have the most available braking because of downforce, and to aggressive on them when you're starting to turn in. Also, you're just not using much track, and the narrower path you're using is longer than everyone else's. Which is taking you more time, and you're scrubbing off more speed. Out of the corner, you're not getting onto the gas soon enough, nor unwinding the wheel soon enough and letting your momentum carry you to the outside edge of the track. This is killing your speed on the straights.

Last thing, are you letting off the gas and shifting? Because your shifting seems way slower than even with cut on.

Anyone else getting lag problems with v9? I woulda lag out about every 5 minutes, switched back to V6 (V7 was giving me a compatiblity message) and the problem went away immediately. I have DSL, and never have connection issues.

Quote from Forbin :I don't know how much I agree with the part about stiffening the front to cure mid-corner understeer. At least, that doesn't seem to be the way it works in LFS.

It works for me, both in real life and in LFS. The hardest part about is making sure the suspension has settled into a turn, if it hasn't, than its still corner entry understeer. Its very hard to diagnose properly without data aquisition. I haven't played with replay analyser enough to see how much it actually exports, might have to try it out again.

I've been following the DP1 Car project for years, and what Dennis has done by himself is pretty much amazing. It does produce downforce though, don't know where someone got the idea it didn't. Somewhere in the archives, their is a CFD analysis of it. Its just not packing huge wings.

Would love to see it in LFS, should be an absolute riot to drive, even in its current 180 BHP form.
