GTL has some very very good AI.
GTR2 has pretty good AI.
RFactor is dependant on the track and AI files. Some tracks have faboulous AI and some have awful AI. Just depends on the track.
LFS S1 had great AI.

Yeah I stopped that pretty soon as it was worse than GPL Monza Turn 1. Plus, nobody really run LX4/LX6 races so I need working AI to get any play out of LFS.

Idealy, it should catter for everyone, great AI for offline, great online for casual pick up races and leagues.

Well I disagree with you. I don't enjoy having a computer game sitting on my PC that I can't use. I get pretty bored with just hot lapping so to me the AI IS the most important thing to me. I don't have time to race online in leagues in every sim so good solid working AI is important to me. Until then, LFS just collects dust.

WOOOHOO. Finally, I might be able to play LFS. Sorry guys, I know a lot of you play it online but I am one that does not do that much. I just get get enough time to take part in leagues and practise so to be able to have a quick race against decent AI is important to me so this is just great news. Been dying to play LFS as I think it has the best physics but it just gets a bit boring hotlapping.

Over at Pistonheads.com we have set up donations to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance charity that relies solely on donations to operate. The Yorkshire Air Ambulance was at the scene, worked on Richard and took him to the hospital. As a way to support this charity and to wish fellow petrolhead, Richard a speedy recovery a webiste has been setup for people to donate. The target was to try and raise enough money to keep the helicopter in the sky for one day which woul dbe a cost of £3600 but as you can see we have raised so far £16,545 and it is climbing every second.

LX4 driving looking for LX6 driver to form team. Possibly not the fastest but clean and consistant and good points finisher (unless you lot are aliens). Would like to just stick with the LX4 if team mate is happy to stick with LX6.

I am really interested in joining this league. I have been looking for a good LX league for a while and stumbled across this one over at RSC. However, I am more of an LX4 driver as is my partner. Is it possible for us both to drive the LX4 in one team, instead of one having to drive the LX4 and the other having to drive the LX6?

We understand we will both be in the slower car but it will just suit us better.

Is it possible to run races with the AI driving the LX4 and LX6 but with the roof down?? I can do it when I drive but the AI always have the roof on.

I would like to see better tyre smoke that hangs in the air for longer and is much thicker.

LFS S2 is awsome but the only reason I don't really play it much is because the AI is not good enough yet. I don't play online so offline with great AI is very important to me. The rest of the sim is amazing but I really do need good AI. I think once this is fixed in the final (I Hope) I can see myself taking lots of days of work racing

OH, I think I may be the odd one out. I think I must be the only one here or even on the planet who is dissapointed with the fact we are getting this car. Don't get me wrong, I adore F1. I have been since 1980 and go to a different GP every year and have every race on video from the mid eighties but an F1 car just seems wrong. If this was an F1 game then yeah great as the devs would do an awsome job but I just think its out of place. If they wanted BMW then I would had sooner seen an M3 GTR or a 2002 Turbo. That would of rocked. I was hoping more for a really cool 4wd rally car.

I am not ungrateful, I just think I must be the only one alive who is not excited about this car.

Oh well, I must be mad.
