I just downloaded S2 Version "Y" to my work computer and I am unable to get the program to open.
When the Icon is sellected I get a popup stating: "Could not detect any suitable screen modes" / "possible error in graphics driver"

Has anyone seen this before and have any suggections on a possible correction. I have updated my DirectX but no help.

The system is Windows 2000 Pro with 1.8 gig processor and 500,000
kb ram if that helps.

I previously had the "X" update on one machine and performed the "Y" update and it looked great.

As I stated on the previous message, I removed LFS from anouther
machine to update it because it was the "U" update and was to old to update. Upon installing the new FULL "Y" version I encountered
this audio problem. The issue seems to have something to do with what view you are using. The "in car", "behind car", the audio is very fragmented and inop. The "above track" view the audio works great and the car sounds are correct.

As part of my trouble shooting, I downloaded the full version from another source and got the same result.

Has anyone else had these issues with the full version and does anyone have any suggestions about how to correct it?

I screwed up and removed my LFS version Y. After downloading and reinstalling version "Y", now I can't get any of the car sounds and the screen if very jerky. I tried to reinstall the download but no help.

ANY SUGGESTIONS?
