Maybe I was too overboard on my statement up top. I guess the question is does the server admin have the power to control all the driving aids such as disallow all the aids except auto clutch for his/her server?
Come on guys. Why did you buy LFS in the place? Because you wanted to experience the closest thing being into a race car right. Do you see race cars equiped with a mouse? No. 'nuff said.
I think wheels should be required to play LFS while other input devices should be banned such as the mouse, trackball, etc. This is an auto racing simulation after all and someone should program LFS to not allow the user to race with a mouse in MULTIPLAYER mode. *Flame suit on*

I think the GTR class in LFS is the most exciting group to run races. I'd like to see some more exotic GTRs like the one above. A GTR on steroids with wider tires, mid engine, and a meaner engine.
I have to agree that Eric design tracks for LFS that are unbelievable. All the tracks in LFS are too fun to drive and the apexes are right on. I'd love to see an airport track with lots of bumps allowing the cars to fly midair. I also would enjoy racing at a port city like Monaco. I think a long straight would be boring. Just hit the drag strip.
I would recommend to get both the CPU and 9800. You need the CPU to be fast enough to send information to the graphics card. If you can't get both, overclock your CPU and just get the card.
I installed the Spotter mod and configured my profile to load the Spotter mod which loads LFS. I now cannot use my profiler assigned buttons. Anyone know what I should do to get the Profiler assigned buttons to work the Spotter mod?
During a race on my XRR, I've noticed my brakes tend to lock up and it's tail happy as the gas tank gets empty. What in dash adjustments can I make to counter this symptom? I've read somewhere that adjusting brake bias will help cure this. Can someone elaborate?
