Yes it does. I can play other games (beamng and acc mainly) just fine.
The game sees the wheel, but in the axis section they are greyed out and the slider at the bottom of the screen stays dead center and doesn't move.
I also tried to copy in a different config file from when I used to play, but that didn't do anything.

Hope someone can help.
I have just come back to this game after a few years out.
Have just downloaded the latest V version.
Loaded it up and unlocked. Was setting all the options up, but when i got to the controller section, it shows my G27, but none of the Axis detect movement when moved or pressed.
I have made sure that I have selected wheel, but nothing. All latest drivers and updates.
Anyone able to help?

No probs mate.

Took me a bit of time to find them also when i upgraded to win7.
My logitech is still going 'strong' !!! Wheel has a lot of play around the central spindal, and the shift buttons are a bit temperamental (becomes very interesting while tryiny to hold a well fought position!!), But it still works.......just trying to save for a better wheel.

You may find that the seat position that you are in is stopping you from seeing the lights on the dash. I think they are on either side of the petrol guage, and that they are in line with the top of the steering wheel. Try adjusting the seating position maybe.

Hello,
This is the log from my event viewer in Vista.

After about 40 mins to an hour, a windows pops up and says that LFS.exe has stopped responding and needs to close. The game was running perfectly until then.
I have tried to reinstall and ran the game on a fresh install with default settings, and it still happened.

Any ideas, because i a stumped, and that means that i cann't do any long races or practicing.

I just tried the server out...on my own!!! And i have a suggestion.

Once you have completed the two laps and the car indicator turns green, if you reach the next split time in that car, could a warning be put up to remind you to change?? (i was in the 'zone' with a car and accidently did three laps, and got disqualified!) But if you do get to the next lap, then you do get disq'd for being stupid enough to ignore all the warnings??

But overall, this could be great fun...do you start slow and end fast, or start fast and end slow?? The choice...is yours!!

Hello everyone,
Ever since i updated to the latest patch, i keep loosing connection to the server that i am in. I have tried it with several servers and still still the same. The time ranges from 30secs to about 3 mins.
I never had this problem with X. Anyone got any ideas as to why this is happeneing? and how to stop it?

To me it sounds like your pedals. I have the formula force GP wheel and pedals and have had nothing like this happen before, and i've played for hours with no problems.
Have you tried a different game? Does it do it on that game?

Lately i have been wanting to do some offline racing against the AI's, but it does not allow me to put the qualifying on.

It says that the AI have not trained to use the pitlane...or something along those lines.

Could someone help me out on this.

During a race i have used the pit lane correctly, but the next time that i try and do the same race but with Q on, it won't let me go!!

Cann't wait to try it. Will download it when my pc is back up and running after being hit by a firework!! Was letting off fireworks in the garden, and the stand fell over and fired one stright through the living room windows and scored a bulls eye on my pc!!

Just letting you all know that i have now passed!!!! Also with 5 minors. It wasn't as hard as i thought. Almost failed on the U turn in the road, almost put my foot down, but managed to rev it a bit harder and pull out of it!!!

It's nvidia . Wouldn't touch ATI with a barge pole after the hassle i've had with them!!

Before you format, go to 'bookmarks' then to 'manage Bookmarks'. Once there, go to 'file' 'export'. this will save you bookmarks as a file. Save this file on a floppy of something else, and when you have reformated, do the same, but 'import' bookmarks.

Don't know about the extensions though i'm afraid.

I have 2x512 graphics cards running in SLI, with a top of the range processor. Came into a bit of money and so blew alot of it on Alienware!!!

So i was wondering if LFS had any 'hidden' graphics settings that i could activate to the max!

I also have the formula force GP wheel. So i will give it a go when i get home from work!

Have any of you found that the actual wheel itself can move up and down in it's holder atall?? Or is it just me!!

I have been driving for a while now with the max in game settings all the way up to maximum quality. I have recently bought a new system with 'kisk ass' graphics, and i was wondering if there were any 'tweaks' that could be done by going into any of the files themselves to make it even better???

I am a novice when it comes to these sort of things so some help would be appreciated.

I have had my Logitech formula force GP wheel and pedal set since they first came out. And they are still going!!! Like the day i bought them....almost. A little up and down movement from the wheel, but that's about it!! I have gone through many sims from lfs, TOCA series, NFS just to mention a few.

Am i just very lucky?? I have no idea, but they are used on average 4 hrs a day every day!!
