I have the same problem right now. I was disconnected from ctra single seater 1. For 1h I can't connect anywhere, becase i'm getting a message "this userer is already connected" (in Polish). I restarted computer and it doesnt work for me.
We need to set area of absolutely latest possible breaking point after the start and before T1. If you didn't break before that point, you didn't try to clearly pass T1 and you are a WRECKER!!
This is my idea for a crash/wrecker detector.
edit: maybe we should consider that breaking point for P1 is different then for P32
btw VoiD, explore youtube to see how many people Live For Movie. There are a lot of LFS movies (count in several thousands) and several times more viewers. So why not to satisfy them?
I often watch movies from racing games and I keep few replays on my harddisk only to make a movie with them someday. First I have to learn how to do it right.
There should be an option for movie makers to correct the replay. There could be some sort of application that analyze a replay and is correcting positions of a car to make it move smooth. Application could correct position of a car only when there was no any contact with another cars during some short period. Then everything would look great and if there would be a contact between two cars we could see if it was a lag problem or not.
Another option it could be to correct only small "jumps".

I have no less then 30fps in full grid with cocpit view in 1024x768 AA x4 AF x16 full details. 60 fps with few cars infront.

Yes. I know that this one mobo is very good and performance is the same as with nForce4 chipset. My advice is to search AsRock 939Dual-SATA2 (or AsRock 939Dual-VSTA) on ebay and toledo 3800.
I'm waiting for the CPU right now and I'll write after I have it how everythink is working together.
I had similar problem recently and I decided to buy dual core Athlon X2 3800+ (Toledo core for good OC) and AsRock 939Dual-SATA2 mainboard. I can stay with my RAM and AGP card (and have free slot for PCI-E also).
everything costed 100 eu, and I'll sell my mainboard and CPU lately, so it'll cost me even less.
In my opinion LFS will have the real tracks because someone will build LFS tracks in a real world They are so good.
Seriously, I'd like to drive a real track with a great physics that LFS has. This is my dream.
You can see two Civics from 2006 BTCC series. To different teams were preparing the same car and they used different looking front spoiler. I'd like to have such option in LFS. It shouldn't change any parameter of the car except the look.

24fps * 90s (one lap) * 60s (rendering time of one frame) = 129600 s = 36 h per one lap.
I loved to drive FZR@WE but there's no people driving it. I learned then BF1@AS and played it for a week. Then I got borne with it and start to play FZR@AS. And I'm boring there also The only fun with AS is the number of players racing online.
I think it would be awesome to have a tool that could export the whole replay to a 3D rendering tool like 3DStudioMax or any other. I can imagine those movies in hi resolution with beautyfull realistic shadows and lights.
Conception of virtual death and buing new license was written for fun. Anyway after serious crash the car shouldn't be able to go and it should be an option in server settings. Then there wouldn't be possibility to reset a car during a race. Crash = End of Race
On the small map we can see our car and our oponents cars. There is also visible who is faster and who is behind. My improvment suggestion is to mark drivers who has more then 1 lap diffrence from us. It is important during long races to know if somebody behind, after overtaking us, will be infront or still behind.
There could be a virtual death implementation. After seriuos crash the driver is killed and you have to buy another license

Unfair points are for unfair behaviour. I was a demo racer for a long time and I saw a lot of people making fun from crashing. I can see the same in S2, but here people has nicks that they can't change. We can use it to teach them a fair play racing.
Fair play is very easy to recognize. The same with unfair.
I'm affraid that fair play is mainly on private servers and public ones starting sometimes to look like the demo servers. I just want to race and not fight on the track.
No, you didn't understand. I want a system which make it easier to kick someone against who there is a lot of voting all the time. It should be a system that ONE person can't give someone an unfair point. If 30% or more people during one session want to kick someone or 30% of them want to give an unfair point then that point is assigned. Next time if we want to kick someone who has several such points, we'd need only i.e 20-30% votes of all racers. There wouldn't be any notification that someone has unfiar points, before voting. If someone'd started to think and to drive normal way (and no crash for fun) he wouldn't be marked in any way. But there wouldn't be also any "lol" text's when voting was cancelled again.
Recently there are too many people that don't want to race. They just want to crash in others on the first corner or when they are doubled. If there are 20 racers on the track then it is very hard to kick or ban. Voting takes too much time or people don't want to vote if they didn't see what has heppend. It's not fun to race for 10+ laps and be nocked out by an idiot.
My idea is to have possibility of giving "unfair points" during the race or after the race. Just the same way as kicking or banning. If there are more then one or two racers who want to assign an unfair point for somebody than that point is assigned. Later, if someone has a lot of unfair point it should be easier to ban or kick him out of the server (i.e. 1/4 or 1/5 of racers).
Other possibility is an automatic unfair points assigner. Server would count polling started against somebody, how many people voted and how often it's heppend.
One unfair point would disappear after for example 10 races without voting.
When i started this topic I was thinking about something different. I know that this game is for everybody and "everyone is equal". Maybe a good driver can make the same time with KS and W. The point is that in real life NOBODY could drive with 4/6 buttons as fast as with W. Next thing that i was thinking about was: "how is it possible that nobody can drive faster then -V17- with wheel (without limitation of KS)?" Wheel has FF and full analog stearing (left/right + throttle/break), only advantages against KS"
Now I know the answer. There is no better driver using wheel then -V17- using KS. That's it!
-V17-, you are a great driver. I was racing with you few times and I don't want to say that your times are good only because of mysteriuos help system in KS.
Tell me anyway. Do you think that driving with KS is realistic as much as driving with wheel?
