im not very good on computers all i know is i downloaded fraps again recorded my lfs clips put them in movie maker and edited all them now some of them dont play.......when i replace them with the same clip it works but another different clip wont be read

i have spent hours and hours making my lfs video and when i go to save it now or play it through in movie maker it comes up with a message saying:

V4 ERROR:Could not allocate memory for Fraps codec.

Width: 1024 Height: 768
AllocSize2823808

it wont let me save this movie now or publish it and i really dont want to loose it this happened before on my old pc had to scrap film, does anyone know why this could be happening, after this message it wont play any clips untill i re-load movie maker then it comes up in a different part of the film........i have over 100gb of hard drive space so i have not ran out of memory can anyone help me please?

oh and when i transfered this film and files to other hard drive it worked for a few mins then it came up again.......

i think this is a great point to bring up i myself have been playing lfs for quite sometime now and the lack of maturity and race wreckers has even made me stop playing the game for a few months here and there, now i think it is slightly better with the introduction with cruise servers.........all the new players only in it for some fun go there while all racers/drifters have their own servers to get on with the racing/drifting. althought u still get the odd wrecker thats part of racing and will always be there

i know it would take a fairly good driver i have bout 1-2 mins of me but would like some other people even its its 1 or 2 corner overtakes its good enough dont just want me in this video.......

has anyone got any replays of ufr's battleing with other cars from different classes? gtr class or single seaters as i have about half a movie done but not many servers have over 5 people racing ufr's with any other types of classes.....can anyone help me out here would be nice to get some footage of them beating better cars

i like this idea but it would be such a big job i highly doubt it will ever be done to lfs, plus it would screw up the whole WR times etc

i have a lovely skin that was made for me along time ago and was just wondering if someone could do the same designs but for different cars? the camo,england roof, name of car on boot and logo, i have uf1 and ufr skin of this but was wondering if anyone would do this for any other cars please, i will post pics of the camo/flag/logo i would like used if anyone has the spare time to do it for me and the skin so you can see the style

sorry to everyone who may have seen this before but i have just come back to lfs after a few months away, how do i change my jpeg skin files to the new skin dds files im not very good on a pc.... i tried putting.dds at the end of them but it hasn't changed anything....can anyone tell me how to do this please or change my uploaded skins to dds format to work with the new skins?

i have been playing lfs on and off for a while now and there is only ong thing that annoys me about this brilliant game, its all about the setup, i know thats part of racing but real racers generally have someone to do that for them......i would like to see a option where everyone has to run the hosts setup on a server or atleast all the same if its from a different racer, this would show how good you are at racing especialy if you dont know much about setting up and the physics of a race car does anyone agree with me?

i had the same problem as you except i started out racing then went to drifting but eventualy you have to decide which one you prefer, i picked racing as i had been doing it longer but you may have different reasons between doing drifting or racing, do what you enjoy the most

i have my g25 not had for long and i am using 720 degree max lock the xrt will go to what force feedback % and central spring back % is the most realistic to use? because real drifters the wheel seems to turn 720 degree+ very fast! just wondering what you find the most realistic setting not easiest and help please?

i have a good drift setup and have been drifting for a while but recently changed to a g25 from 200 to 720 degree rotation what setting on the g25 would you say is the most realistic?atm i have 100% force feedback and 50% wheel spring back to center it feels fairly realistic as you see ral drifters flick the wheel from right to left fast which the wheel springback does, any suggestions on what to set my g25 to?

i lyk it and the song, it was a passionate race and now it has a powerfull abnd passionate song to it

im not that fussed what tracks just aslong as they are real ones that are popular so that most people will know them for example laguna seca, suzuka, silverstone etc just aslong as they arent made up anymore...........
