Hi, a couple of months ago I installed Windows 7 and since then I am having problems with my pedals on my driving force pro. However hard I push the pedals they will always go full. I slowly push the pedals down and as soon as you normaly start to move they just shoot straight up. It burns my clutch really quick and its just impossible to brake as you lock up at every corner. What could be wrong? I have tried so many things. Reinstall of driver, reinstall of Logitech software. Thanks for the help.

I have just installed windows 7 and i am having big problems, I couldnt get the profiler to install for my DFP because of it not being able to install on the operatin system. I finally found a version on the Wingman site and it worked fine, now my pedals have gone really really sensitive. When I go into the windows calibration and it shows the throttle and brake, they never slide up and down when I press them. I then noticed that it was the axis cross which normally moves left and right when I move the wheel was moving up and down as i pressed them so instead of getting gradual movement of the throttle everytime I pressed either the throttle or the brake it just shot straight up for the throttle and down the for brake. How do I stop them? I am pretty sure this is whats making them sensitive.

Sounds so nice going through the revs.. Id love a really nice mini sound were the straight cut gears whine really noisy when you change down gear.

Right, Im sure I removed the virus, I am running both AVG and Zonealarm. I reinstalled windows about a month ago. My CPU IDle speed is about 1-5%. I have 72 processes running which seems alot. I do want to stop some services. And I shall try and reinstall LFS to see if it works any better.

Still only getting 20 frames with it all on Low graphics and Laptop dust free.

Right we both have Duel core. My laptop now is running at 60 degrees and about 50 on idle. I shall suck all the dust out, makes it blow almost cold air out then.. But we have both had out laptops for the same amount of time and I have cleaned mine out about 6 times in 2 years he has cleaned his out.. none.


He is on high full settings I am on all low.

I still think there is something wrong, I found out my friends has 1gb of Ram he thought he had 2 and he still is getting alot more frames than me! We are both Windows vista. He really puzzles me how I have a much better computer graphics and memory wise and he is still getting more frames

I always seem t ge better frames,as my internet is wireless when Im closer to the router.

Now then! I was on power saver! and alread I am getting 25 frames in the garage and Im scanning for viruses aswell!

Ill report back what happens.

Hmm on inspection i found that I have the GM965 with the following settings which normall give me up to 30 frames:

Total Available Graphics memory: 358mb
Dedicated Memory: 0mb
System Video Memory: 128mb
Shared System Memory:230mb

Checking on my friends Laptop he has the GM945 with the following settings:

Total Availabe Graphics Memory: 251mb
Dedicated Memor:0mb
System Video Memory:64mb
Shared System Memory: 187mb

He has less memory onhis graphics card but still is almost getting double and sometimes triple the amount of frames as me.

We both have 2gb of Ram and I have a bigger hard drive.

Something must be wrong with my laptop.

I think there is a problem with my laptop, me and my friends are both using GMA X3100 and he is almost getting double frames to me.

Well now you mention it no.The frames are still the same in single player to te problem cannot be the network. hmm.

Changed nothing apart from reset the router a couple of times. We have tried it with the same graphics card on a different laptop and my internet and h is getting the 20 frames. I had a virus which kept sending CiD popups but that seems to have stopped.

Over the past week my frames have dropped from 20 to 6. But I cannot fiure out why? Any ideas?

Yes I dont have enough money to buy another computer, But know Intel are trying to increase the performance of the X3100 Graphucs card like mine so only time will tell.

Yes I defragged my HD yesterday, Now all I will do is scan, becuase I feel my computer has gone weird, My internet keeps cutting itself out and stuff. Ill do some scans and report back.
