I had downloaded the wrong ones... for the porche wheel, now everytime i try to install those it says already installed

Hey Gentlemen,

All of my lfs racer buddies have been bugging me to get off the mouse and get a damn wheel! So i finally went out and got a very nice wheel... but for some reason my computer wont even recognize it.. Ive been told that i have to have an Xbox360 software on my comp, noooo idea where to get it.. If anyone has an idea where to get it, that would be great... used the wheel on xbox and its simply amazing! PLEASE help.
Im really wanting to use this wheel!

Any Help would be appreciated!

.... all sounds great and all... but seriously, who the hell in thier right mind would spend nearly $2000 dollars for sim cars? lol im sorry but if i was willing to spend that much on a sim game, i have more real life racecar stuff to buy, not virtual cars that look like renders... nice work.. but way to over the top! Devs keep it up your doing just fine!

Since this thread was started on the thought (opinion) that mouse/pad should be banned. I dont care either way, I race with mouse and have raced with G25. Untill the devs decide that this is a nessasary option then im going to continue to be fast with my mouse. As for the comment on the first page about affording a wheel. I have been racing cars since i was 5years old, now 27, and you can bet your ass that i would much rather spend my money on my real racecars then a wheel for a sim one. That $200 bucks could by me a tire (which i burn off in one night of racing) So which is why i will continue to use a mouse in lfs untill devs otherwise say so, and invest my money into the real deal!

ok log, its great your trying to give back to the community, but there is a reason we have (setupgrid) (inferno) its all the same. You may be good at helping people "find" thier setup, but the truth is, why would i want to try your sets out (+1 sec behind), when i can download a set that is way closer to fast times, or at least by someone who knows the car/track and how the setup should go by sheer time in just knowing how the set should be! If i want to personalize my set, i will do it myself, and do it will a starting set that is (no offense) faster! If i need more brake bias cause the car wont turn in, ill do it. Your doing greatl, just dont forget there is alot to learn! been racing for 20 years and still couldnt say i know $hit about this sport! changes every day (including setups)

thanks guys i fully agree its my fault, just made a bad choice, hit the throttle to try and get by the slower car, just got to excited! We are trying to resolve the accident/ban on the IHR server right now!

Hey guys! I have no idea why i would be banned from the IHR server? My race name is [SR]IceMan, i dont crash people intentionally, or cuss people out... I would consider myself to be a good all around friend/driver.. If i did something that i am not aware of i would love to at least know why? Love the server, love the racing on the server, and would love to come back to it! Just curious, i fully accept and take responsibilty of my actions if i have done something wrong!

tried most of what i know... profiler doesnt even have a selection for the shifter! Lfs doesnt even show 4th gear when your shifter in Lfs Options trying to assign 4th. it shows 3rd and 5th.. but no 4th

Well my issue with the G25 is, when i go to put it in 4th gear it brings up my F12 menu. I swear i have tried almost everything.. Any ideas guys?

Wow guys, what can i say, this is why i love lfs so much. Just some great people on here. Sparky, i really appreciate that m8, as well as you dru I will for sure do that sparky, provided i dont get my license revoked. To be entirely honest, i thought that license sharing was about not giving it out to your friends, or another person, but when they live in the same house as you, i guess i didnt see a major problem with it. I mean its my dad you know? But as of now i realize that this must not happen. Right now money is tight, (surgery and all) but i will try real hard to get him a license. I dont want to loose mine because of sharing, but its my own fault. Same with this short ban, i should have known. Hes a really good driver in real life(just won the USCA championship. www.uscaracing.com) but its hard for him to understand the concept of a mouse but in the mean time, ill do my best to not have him race on my comp. When im not here its going to be hard. This is a shared computer. And honestly hes really hard headed.

Even if my license is revoked for license sharing, at least i fessed up to it, and ill leave with my pride i knowing i made some awesome friends here, ALL of you guys have really gained my respect, LFS i cant thank enough for that, I do hope to see you guys again on the track, and i hope that this can all be resolved. If the devs read this, i am really sorry about the license sharing, i had a different understanding about the boundries of it. Still am very thankfull for the oportunities that lfs has brought(friends) And i really thank everyone for the support on my surgery. I was hit on my harley davidson by a car(www.myspace.com/iceman31x) if you guys would like to see pics of my new and old bike. Sparky and dru thanks again, and to everyone. Thank you sam for lookin for the ban, and getting me the replay, im going to check it right now and see if i was in the wrong, or it was my pops.

Thanks a bunch Sam, and all of you guys, as far as license sharing, Its my dad, im pretty sure TONS of people do it, but im just honest enough to let everyone know. But this is not going to happen again. CTRA means a bunch to me. When i come online, its the only thing i do with lfs anymore. I love it, and all of the good racers that come with it. Thanks again Sam, i told my pops if he even so much as goes into a CTRA server, im locking the game ive worked really hard to get to this point in CTRA (27th in the Hall of fame) and the last thing i need is for my pops to screw that up. I Have so many more points i need to get

Becky, I would appreciate it if i could have this ban taken off. The reason i say this: If you were to ask, sparkydave, moose, lordblaster, ANYbody, the will tell you that i am not a wrecker.(fusion.IceMan) Now on the otherhand im pretty sure i know why this ban is in place, there is another person who plays on this account.(sprinter11X) Which i am positive that this will be the last time. I have a 3 day ban with the ctra servers, and i would really like to ask if you could plz lift that ban becky. I can promise it wont happen again. Now if that replay had Fusion.IceMan in it(me) then dont lift the ban, but im pretty sure this ban is not because of me. I apologize to whoever(sprinter11x) has crashed or taken out with plain disregard. I never would do that nor do i try to. I love the CTRA servers, i think its one of the best things that has happened to lfs in a long time. In 3 days i have to go in for lab tests on a surgery and 1 day later i have to have the surgery. This was the best thing to keep my mind off of it(ctra) so i would really appreciate it if you would concider lifting the ban.

I seem to be having the same issues, only under connecting to a server, it will say, did not recieve ok, or did not recieve player info. When i finally do get into a server, i can race for about 2 mins then it kicks me off "lost connection" I am almost wondering if its LFS master server, but i really couldnt tell ya. Ive been playing lfs for 1 1/2 years and never had this problem till today

Yea this sim has to be the greatest yet As for tracks to try, why not try them all All the cars are good and all the tracks are good, even tho some of them are tougher than some of the others, just give them a chance and dont give up on them. The harder the car to drive the more fun it is anyway and yes BF1 kicks ***
