Thanks!

Great news. I have Track IR so I guess I could use that & Oculus Rift together if positional tracking isn't enabled from the get go.

I can't wait - Rift support has rekindled my long dormant interest in LFS!

Looks great, thanks for sharing.

I have a DK2 on order, I hope LFS supports it!

Controller Configs

Apologies if this has been suggested before (although if it has I can't find it)

It occured to me the other day that it would be usefull to be able to 'Save' controller configs in some way. For example I race with different controllers depending on my situation (wheel, gamepad or even my flight yoke at times !) . If I change controllers at the moment I have to re assign axis and adjust settings every time I swap from using my wheel to using my game pad (for example) If there was a way to save specific configs it would make life easier. I'm sure there are other people who would benefit from something like this.

Whilst I'm on a posting spree I may as well add that this guide has helped me a lot. There are times when I don't use my wheel (at LAN parties for example) or occasions where I race someone else at home, they get the Track IR and the wheel to give the a real feel for LFS whilst I race on the laptop with a gamepad.

Thanks !

I find it very hard to choose between the two. My background is more in Flight Sims than racing sims/games. In flight sims realism is everything so I guess I am used to that and get enjoyment from it. I have admit that the learning curve in LFS is very steep as a result though but I enjoy it more than other racing games I've played.

I got the demo of LFS in March, after looking for a realistic racing game that utilised Track IR. I registered the game for the full version not long after but haven't spent much time with it until recently. I'd like to get to a standard good enough to race in a league of some sorts and am in the process of setting up a small team of like minded noobs to practice/race with.
