RULES NO FULL SPEED RAMMING (Ramming can be defined as intentionally hitting a very slow moving car as fast as you can). Contact is allowed, pushing, shoving, pitting, tapping etc. But no full speed ram!
NO WRONG WAY DRIVING (If you are accidentally pushed into oncoming traffic please turn around immediately)
NO MIDRACE JOIN (If you are severely damaged and ON the track, please stay on the track. If you are severely damaged and OUT of the track boundaries, please spectate)
DETAILS Car: UF1
Race 1 - 3 Laps
Race 2 - 5 Laps
Race 3 - 10 Laps (1.5x Points)
Race 4 - 5 Laps
Race 5 - 20 Laps (2x Points)
I can also confirm that this happens. It's not a "sometimes" thing - it happens every time. If you very slowly fall off the end of a ramp you get rocketed forwards

This is obviously the first race, I can't guarantee that the 'league' as such will continue but we will hold various races at random times. If it is successful, however, an official league will be considered. This race is just meant as a bit of fun.
Yes, that is what virtual tuning is. I'm not sure what you are talking about then, i've never actually seen large viewpoint car picture..things.. lol. Care to share some of your work? Do you basically just take blueprints and brush over them, but full size brushing, not pixel work? If so, i've done something simillar to that, turning car pictures into cartoon pictures by brushing the colours on.
But, I understand that you're just trying to understand, but it did come accross a bit "attacky". I guess its hard to take it any differently, when most people on this forum seem to love critising everything they encounter - it really is quite annoying.
Oh, and in reply to your previous post "why not make it big and shrink it, because you cant take something big and enlarge it". Well, you shrink one of the pictures you do, and if it comes out as detailed and perfect as a pixel car, i'll eat my foot. Just like making a small picture big, distorts it - making a big picture small, does just the same. Obviously to a lesser extent, but nonetheless.
Same reason you play LFS when you could just go and play NFS...
Personal preference. Sheesh. And trust me, the same talent used to create pixel cars could not go into creating higher res versions. Pixel tuning and virtual tuning are COMPLETELY different - I know, having done both. When i made the change from virtual tuning to pixel tuning i had to learn completely new skills. I'd never even used the pencil tool when doing virtual tuning. When you're doing a tune on a large size, you can get away with making mistakes because they just get hidden. But on a pixel car, every single piece of work you create and be seen, and mistakes easily spotted. If anything I find pixel tuning more difficult than virtual tuning.
Pixel cars are just as satisfying to complete as a full size virtual tune. It's about attention to detail, ir originated from japan, and we all know they have excellent attention to detail.
Why even come to this topic if you hate them? It's clear from the title that it's to do with 'cool little cars'
And try telling that to the thousands of people from digimods (rip) who virtually tuned "existing cars" into tuned cars... sheesh. Just because you don't like something doesn't mean everyone else doesn't. There is clearly a big market for pixel cars else the sites wouldn't be thriving.
