How do you guys get access to the private servers?

I'll be on there tonight. Though i am super crap in anything else but the XF GTI, on the Blackwood track. I was on the AUS AREA51 BEGINNER server yesterday and i think i pissed a few ppl of as i spun out and accidently crashed into other cars

I was just wondering if there is a way of uploading your stats to the LFS Desktop without needing to be racing on an online server.

What i mean is....i want to be able to do hotlaps localy on my computer and i want to upload the stats (i.e. fastest lap times) to the LFS Desktop. Is that possible at all?

Or is there a utility that will do that for me?

It's the only thing stopping me from paying for the S2 licence. This game sux for any races against the AI and racing against the clock soon becomes very dull...

I guess this is a catch 22 situation. How are the going to be more S2 players if they don't purchase the licence, yet they don't want to purchase the licence due to the lack of S2 players online.

That's odd....i just downloaded it from work. No errors what so ever.

EDIT: How big should an .SPR file be? Coz mine is only 10kb in size. Seems a bit small for a replay file.

I am finding that the car setup is not level with my capabilities. It just understeers everywhere and that's where i lose most of my time. The fastest lap i did yesterday was 1:36:09 with the Team Inferno setup on the car. To do that time i was doing 32 and 1:08 on respective corners.

When i had a look at the tyre temps i found that the Left Hand side tyres were warmer by about 5-10 degrees on the inside compared to the Right Hand side. This is obviously due to the greater Right Hand turn on the track. Maybe i just need to keep practising. In total i've done about 50 laps in the XF GTI to get me down to 1:36:09

I'm also wondering if i am aiming too high as it seems in the Q version of LFS the car is actually slower than in the version where the WR was set.

I am driving the XF GTI on the Blackwood track with the Team Inferno setup installed and i can NOT get any better than 1:36:09 no matter what i do. The harder i try the worse i get till i spit the dummy.

The biggest problem i am having is on the first RH corner after the START/FINISH line. I seem to lose most of my time on that bloody corner.

Anybody able to help me out? How can i upload a track of the line that i take?

Where can i download these Team Inferno setups from?

I'm using the DEMO version at the moment and i've been playing arround yesterday with all the settings of the XF GTI on the Blackwood track. RACE_S setting is probably the best and i can NOT get any faster than 1:38:76

I don't know what i am doing wrong. I'm sure it's a matter of practise makes perfect.

It is SO tempting to buy the S2 licence but i don't have the money at the moment....it's $AU60
