probably been asked a million times but..
Whats the best wheel to buy?
IS there a massive difference between the momo and the DFP ?
Or are there other brands of wheels that are worth looking at like thrustmaster etc etc?

I currently use a game pad and i have an old microsoft wheel which i just cant get the hang of, just dont want to buy another wheel and not like it basically..

Thanks one and all for the help
what's your budget? You can get a decent usable wheel for under £50, like the Wingman formula forcer type, but they are certainly not the best. Depends on how much you have to spend.

Budget isnt a big issue to be honest, a DFP in Oz is about $280.00.

Money isnt a big problem but i dont want to buy a wheel twice though
If you can wait til about november, there will be a G25 coming out, with Leather wheel, 3 pedals, h shifter, the whole works, for 300$ USD, so about 400~ AUD I guesstimate.
K, The DFP has upto 900 degrees of rotation, and can be instantly switched from 900 - to - 200 by pressing 3 button.

Using a DFP, you can re-create the steering angle of any car by usin the setup and guestimating the amount of degrees of travel, and then setting up your DFP angle of steering to that limit, at which point the motors in the DFP will do thier upmost to stop you going past that set degrees

eg, In BF1, I set my DFP to 410 degrees, which is very close to what would be 1 degree wheel turn to 1 degree in game wheel turn

So, either buy a USED DFP from ebay or somewhere, use it for a few months and sell it on (Mine was £40 brand new, and are currently on ebay for about £40-50 used, so I hope to not lose any money ) and buy a G25 around Christmas sales time
Hope this helps

Ps, G25, hmm $300... thats bout £155-£160. I will bet getting a job in August to pay for this and selling my beloved DFP on ebay.
where did you get your dfp from for £40?

Or instead of guessing you can check in one of the setup menus for the car you are driving and it will let you know the degrees lock for that particular car, then you can get it spot on
i am happy with momo
