LFS World - Pictures missing [fixed]
Hi there,

Since a few days I have this problem. I only have it in Firefox, and not in IE. Before it appeared I also used Firefox, so I can't say why it suddenly happened.

Anyway, when I go to LFS World, all pictures are missing (toolbars, pictures of the tracks in hotlap menu). I attached a pic to my post.

Does anyone know why this happends, and how I could solve it? Maybe it's just a setting in FF that's been set wrong, but I can't find it.

Thanks in advance,

Darkone

I had that once - the solution was simple. Go into FF options, and you can set exceptions to pages loading images. Somehow my FF had put lfsw in there. Remove it and it should work again.

Thanks, that's it.
I have kinda the same problem (but I don't block any images), and there is only one of those icons that doesn't pop up, I can't see the "some online charts" thingy. Not really that I use it, but still... It isn't there.

It kinda merges with this thread, so I didn't want to use a new one.
#5 - ORION
exact browser version
operating system
deleted cookies / cache?
etc.
Latest FireFox 1.5.0.4 (just updated, so the previous version had it too)
Windows XP SP2
I don't delete my cookies very often, but all my actions (visited websites) is being set to forget each time I close my browser.

But there is only one button missing...

And sorry I didn't react sooner, it appears this thread didn't get into my subscribed list.

*EDIT*
Here is a little screen capture of it. Like I said, only thing missing is the charts icon.

Yes, so the gif isn't really the problem... I really don't understand this

I tried right clicking the spot where the image should be, but there just is nothing there.
this is something i always ask when unexplained things happen : have you checked for virus's or spyware? Some of them can fook with browser contents too.
I'll scan for virusses now, I don't do that very often, as long as I don't have any trouble with my comp I don't really care what's going on

Would be weird if this is the only thing that I notice that isn't right though. I know I used to have that icon, because when you gave me the link to it, I remembered it.

I know several anti-spyware softwares, but I don't have one at the moment, so if anyone can tell me a very good program, free, I'll try it again some time. I used to have ad-aware, but that seemed to be not so good itself...

BTW, another thing, about the forum. Almost every time I have read all my subscribed threads, leave, and come back, all of them are marked unread again, while there has nothing been changed. I think it has to do something with time.
what's your computer's time? Is it totally exact? (correct time / day / month and year?) Are you also logged out suddenly at websites? (ie. cookie expires prematurely)

And yeah about the virus's, I just mention that to be sure that you've eliminated that. It's not likely, but you never know. I have had some occasions where a virus was interfering with browser behaviour.
My date is set correctly and my time too... But the forum always has a different time than me. It's always about 5 minutes off or something like that.

And I'm never logged out of websites unless I log myself out. So everytime I come to the forum or the desktop, I'm automatically logged in.

I use AVG anti-virus, it's the only one that's free and with wich I don't have any problems. And I had no virusses. Didn't download much porn lately
