Hello.
Yesterday i had enough of micro$oft and made the switch to ubuntu 22.04.
I got minecraft to run flawlessly, along with discord, teamspeak, and pretty much everything else i needed.
LFS on the other hand:
I ran the installer using wine and ran the game too using wine.
But on Westhill i only seem to be getting 120-180 fps.
It should be noted that i am using a high-end rig.
I've been told by another linux user that you get stutters when mods are being loaded as other players join the track.
But there was no activity when i was driving.
Obviously the best solution for all of this would be to port LFS to linux natively, but I'm guessing that will take an enormous amount of time.
Here's a question for the linux guru's out there.
What are some things i can look into to improve the fps?
