Last time RTFR run a GTR class car in South City's Chicane Route configuration, the race set a record lowest finishing percentage by being the only race in event history with below 50% finishing rate. Seems like quality of drivers have improved through these years and the race this week on very similar combo ended with 88% finishing percentage, however 8% did not reach the finish line as they retired after completing half of the race to be classified in race results. Of course the narrow chicane was highly influencing drivers - some lost positions, some damaged car, some gained on other drivers' mistakes.
It's not really clear why the lead change happened, but with less than 3 laps to go Gábor took over the race lead after being in chasing position for almost whole race, led the remaining 2 laps to score his "Black Jack" race win - the 21st RTFR victory. While running in lead,he also set the fastest lap of the race, which was his 16th,adding also his 45th top5 finish to stats. The lithuanian driver with ever changing name was the one to beat in qualifying,so he scored his 17th pole position, but after leading 30 laps,he lost race lead and finished 2nd to score also his 17th top5 finish. R.Kardol was rather invisible on the broadcast as he was running alone for most of the race, finishing 3rd,which is his 75th top5 finish,Adam had way more action to go through to finish 4th and in top5 for the 4th time. Ayoub Maroc used the chaos in late race stages to slip into 5th position, scoring his 9th top5 finish.

Next up is RTFR XL - on the coming tuesday a totally different LFS's GTR car will be used. It's the one classified as NGT class car with a lot of rolling potential - the beefed up UF1000. And to add some more roll in the rolling the selected track has few of the "sausages" lying around,so it will be another focus test race just like this week. Full information will be posted and server will be set up tomorrow. In 2 weeks the standard length RTFR will return - which car and where can be found out in the broadcast recording.
