Is there any way to add the real automatic:
The car should be able to shift like a "normal" car would in real life. When suddenly flooring the throttle, kick down mode will be engaged and the car immediately shifts down into the gear that can deliver the most power at the current speed. I think this is a good idea for people who like to chill out

It's a cool idea.
It would be cool if you can select cruise mode (ON/OFF) and you can select rpms (with mouse scroll maybe) for example 3k and every gear change executes on 3k rpms.

Only thing is that not every car is supported. I only know that my BUMER 7 is supported.

ye its a racing sim, so it should simulate auto slushbox properly too

No third-party software can properly emulate a torque converter automatic (which are common on racing-capable cars, e.g. BMW M3/M5/M5/M8). They can get close to a PDK/DSG, but not to e.g. ZF 8HP.

what about beamng simulation on those slushboxes?

I would as well support such a feature. BeamNG Drive does it very well (as it does in many other ways too). Depending on the car, you either have the "classic American" gearbox or you can select shifting programs like, cruise, sports, race, track or drift.

And that's really great. LFS could only benefit from it.

But on the other hand, I wouldn't get my hopes up. The list of things that would be great in lfs is long and would reach around the globe.

I would like more bet on the Hybrid system.
I would like to apply Hybrid system to our rally car to make it more real to the current WRC Rally1.

I tried to simulate an auto trannie with a shift kit put in a long time ago. I never could get it to overdrive the right amount before shifting.
