This race used a car that is quite radical with it's specs - even if the small engine does not produce large amounts of power, with small size, low weight and plenty of aerodynamic help it is very fast, clearing the turns in breathtaking pace thanks to grippy slick tyres. As always with new cars people first had to adapt to it and again some were able to do it quicker, some were setting new PBs late in the race even after more than hour of practice. Still on fast track like the longest configuration of Aston is,the car provided quite a lot of active head to head racing as seen on broadcast.
Despite changing cars between the races with high variation, there is something that did not change - the race winner. For the 3rd race in row Gábor finished the race ahead of everyone else and set the fastest laptime even for the 5th race in row. That makes him to be the 2nd driver in RTFR history with more than 1 winning streak that consists of 3 or more back to back wins. Overall it was hungarian's 29th race win,21st pole position,25th fastest lap of the race and 55th top5 finish. The remaining 2 on the podium position finishers also finished in same position they started - R.Kardol was 2nd to take his 84th top5 finish and Zesty repeated his best positions in both sessions - 3rd to score his 5th top5 finish. M.Túlio also repeated his best qualifying position - 6th,but was able to upgrade it to 4th place finish, which is 1 position better than his only other top5 finish. Top5 was closed by driver with currently active RTFR XL winning streak - True Alpha joined late to qualify in rather low position, but gained 11 positions to take his 22nd top5 finish.

Both RTFR scored seasons now have just a single race and coincidentally both will be finished with front wheel driven cars - in 2 weeks RTFR will return with one of the standard road legal LFS cars, which and where you can find out by watching the broadcast recording, however the RTFR XL season will finish in Fern Bay's longest standard configuration known under then name "Black" and run with LFS's own NGT class car XFR - this is the late submitted selection of winner of the previous race. Next week however there is no previously scheduled race on tuesday from RGE,this might change with time,so stay tuned for info! But for people seeking action there is event on monday - round 2 of Retro cup winter series will take place in Blackwood.
