The scored championship seasons are over,so the last RTFR of the year was just a simple fun race as RTFR used to be - just for fun and glory. And since it does not decide anything, organization allowed itself to select a car that is not really meant for masses - a 900+ horsepower single seater based on american single seater racing car of late 90ies. It's a car that is ready to turn it's rear tyres into huge cloud of white smoke if driver is not careful and rear's tendency to overtake front was stronger than for most cars, but 18 drivers were not scared off and took the challenge to handle it. One of them left and did not start however, while few others retired during the race, leaving 11 classified drivers and just 8 completing full race distance.
With active 4-race winning streak,Gábor joined this to try to extend the streak and during qualifying everything went well in this direction as the hungarian was the only one to break 1:14 laptime mark - 23rd pole position was secured. However after leading 7 laps,he spun the car, losing lead, after another spin he left complaining about hardware issues, ending his winning streak. Zesty was the one who took over the race lead - he qualified 3rd,repeating his previous best qualifying result. On lap 8 taking over the lead,he scored his 1st ever lead lap in RTFR,adding another 17 to his total to celebrate his 1st ever RTFR race win, improving his previous best finishing result by 2 positions. He scored the 1st ever win not just for himself, but also for Malaysia and whole Asia in RTFR,adding also 6th top5 finish to his stats. Arska finished 2nd for the 2nd week in row (84th RTFR XL),scoring his 25th top5 finish, followed by his countryman UM21,who retured to RTFR for the 1st time since 170th RTFR - return resulted into podium finish and 12th top5 finish. Another finn finished 4th - Thehemuli won the late battle and scored his 6th top5 finish, the organizer himself completed the top5 with his 86th top5 finish.
This concludes the racing action of RTFR. This year. On 2nd january RTFR will resume the action with race using one of the road legal cars - which and where is yet to determined, just like how exactly the next seasons will be shaped - ll of this will be announced within this year! Now it's time to rename the server for the yearly smashing party - next tuesday it will not be RTFR,but other way of having fun in tusday as for the 13th time - Race [un]Green Events presents: the chance to take your 140 horsepower rear wheel drive XR GT and don't feel sorry if you happen to destroy it - because this is an event where you have a risk to get your car finished before crossing the finish line.
