Hi all!

I recently bought a Cammus 15nm DD.

Have had a hard time getting settings right. IT seems like, no matter how i set everything there is always like an excessive returning to the center force compared to normal.

Have anyone out there having a cammus wheel experience this also?

Which car are you using in LFS and how much did you set the FF strength in LFS?

In LFS:

FF set in the 10-20% range.
10000steps 100hz

At cammus sofware, power in the range of 50-100%
All effects like springs inertia etc 0.

Tried everything playing arround with the settings but still have no idea why.

I tested with several cars and setups like lx6 , xrt, a 4 wheeled mod.. it seemed to be more pronounced on front or all wheel cars.

Played around with many settings.

In assetto corsa is not hapening.

I had to send a RMA yesterday because some buttons on the steering wheel do not work when the wheel is turned at a certain angle...

So i wont be able to test it further until is solved etc.

The hardware/software looks high quality etc, but i am not so sure about the quality control of each unit...

I may write here how it turned out with support etc in another post, as it may be helpfull to others. There is not much info on this particular wheel.

All settings you mentioned were allright. One thing that comes to my mind, it's probably due to car setups you used, mostly they are made by mouse drivers and they have a very strong return to center force due to incorrectly set caster. You fill find that on most setups it is maxed out at 6deg, so try lowering it down to 5.5deg or lower untill it feels good. I normaly set 5.7deg or even 0.1-0.2deg lower for some high downforce cars and this gives a very nice and balanced feel in most cars that allow setting caster.

Very good point, that makes sense, and would explian why in some cars it was more dramatic. I will try that when its ready and post here if it helped!
