WHEN: Monday, July 22th
WHERE: Blackwood Outskirts, a spectacular extended blackwood layout!
WHY: Multiclass vintage racing fun, traffic, drama!

After an eventful and absolutely dramatic debut of the 24 Season in Westhill North RGE Retro, the vintage paddock moves to Blackwood for the second round of the season.

And it's going to be a great race, on the Outskirts layout of Blackwood: this layout, designed with the tracks of the vintage Endurance racing in mind, features very long straights in the woods outside Blackwood, combined with much more technical sections where you will need to have good balance on the car.

A complete track, you'll need a balanced car to be able to go fast around there and master this layout.

GENERAL RACING RULES

Spoiler - click to reveal

Rules:
We will not make a mile long rule book that noone will read completely anyway,so we will rely on common sence of competitors to behave and follow the basic Rules of Clean Racing. There will not be an admin in server who will specifically observe drivers' behaviour during the race,so any action will be made only after protest while all retirements will be investigated automatically. If any incidents reported/protested,we will take individual approach to each of them to decide best fair resolution or punishment if needed.

Basic guidelines as a reminder:
> Blue flag - you may not deny/block a passing manouvre of laping car and try a repass right after it. In qualification it means - stay off racing line and don't disturb drivers on hotlap.
> Shortcuts - 2 wheels on track at all times. Track is mostly marked by white lines, while also curbs count towards track. Overtaking outside track limits counts as illegal and will be penalized in case of a protest.
> Contacts - have to be avoided at all costs as always when racing open wheel cars, that includes also bumpdrafting.
> Pit exit - pit exit lines will have to be respected - drivers may not cross the pit exit line with more than 2 wheels and have to make way for cars racing at full speed. Failing to comply with this rule will award them with 10s penalty, while causing incidents will result in bigger penalty. Pit entry lines will not be monitored, they serve just as guidelines.
> Chatting - it's not completely outruled, but still drivers are expected to concentrate on racing. In case of too much chatting while ignoring messages asking to cease chatting,a penalty may be given. In case of any abusive/offensive language a penalty will be given! Any in server present observers/spectators are not allowed to chat at all during race session!
> Lags - if there are any connection issues, driver will be asked to improve (close internet using programs). If driver will be considered as dangerous due to unstable connection and high ping,he will not be allowed to participate at the current round.
> Hacks/cheats - if used, you will not race with us. Ever. As simple as that.

Possible penalties:
> WARNING - any minor infraction that needs to be noted without penalty. Warned driver might receive bigger penalty for other infractions.
> 10s added to finish time - minor infractions, like illegal passing, pit exit line violation, too much chatting.
> 30s added to finish time - medium infractions, like causing avoidable incident[s] without serious consequences, illegal passing.
> 60s added to finish time (1 lap penalty in rounds 2 and 3) - medium infractions, like causing avoidable incident[s] with consequences to other drivers (like damage, multiple position loss) or unsportsmanlike behaviour.
> Disqualification for 1 or more rounds - heavy infractions, multiple incidents, unsportsmanlike behaviour. After serving disqualification, driver will automatically carry a "warning" for the rest of season.
> Series exclusion (including ban for any other events run under Race Green Events control) - serious infractions like intentional/revenge wrecking, event sabotage and any other malicious act.

PROTOTYPES

MAZDARATI wins the Blackwood Outskirts RETRO Grand Prix!!

Driving his Wessex Martini, the Dutch legend managed to take Pole Position and beat the menacing ZFRL Thehemuli's McLarry by a comfortable margin!

Starting P1, Madzarati lost his place at the race start, where the superior acceleration of the McLarrys of Thehemuli and Rony made a difference.
However, Mazdarati always applied the pressure on Thehemuli: the leading pair disappeared in front of the Race Green drievrs, RG^Rony and RG^Lorenzo.

Thehemuli was forced maybe to push his tyres bit too hard, and picked up some suspension damage by riding over a lateral curb.
This unsettled his McLarry's balance: Mazdarati closed the gap and was all over the championship leader's rear wing.

Thehemuli was forced to pit for damage, leaving free road and the first victory of the season for Mazdarati, who now becomes a proper championship contender!

Behind the leading pair, RG^Rony had a troubled first stint of the race, with a spin in Lap 1 and further troubles in the following laps, before starting to find his rythm.

Even worse was the fate of RG^Lorenzo: second in Westhill, the RG driver never found the right balance in Blackwood and struggled for pace.
A technical failure at lap 20 meant losing two laps of racing: a day to forget for the italian.

GT PRO

Once again, GT Pro category delivered action packed, tight racing and an healthy field of drivers.
Poleman and winner of Round 1, S1DUS*GáboR, disappeared from the paddock right before the starting grid, despite securing another pole position.
Rumors says he was locked inside his motorhome by one of his title rivals.

Without the title favourite, it was all to play in Blackwood: B2R Rejekt started first, but RG^NOSLE & //SRP Master/ were right on his tail in the opening straight, and managed to pass him before Turn 1.

In Lap 2, the fight got heated: Master touched Nosle, sending him wide on the gravel: B2R Rejekt saw the opportunity and launched a big attack for the lead.
It was a spectacular 3 way fight into the Outskirts section straights, with back and fourth manouvers from the dynamic trio.
Two of them started to make a difference: with Rejekt leading the way till an early pit-stop, leaving RG^NOSLE in the lead.

NOSLE managed to extend his stint till the penultimate lap, when he was forced to pit: B2R^Rejekt passed by with just 2 seconds margin, a margin that he managed to keep till the chequered flag, despite NOSLE's efforts!

It's the first win of the season for Rejekt, who jumps in P1 in the standings as well!

A lap behind finished //SRP Master/, who managed to overtake a punctured [SQUID] SIMOX in the last lap!

The race top 5 is completed by [MRc] Jsk!

TOURING CLASS

ZFRL LG-Mies qualified in the Acosta Starlin veichle, but didn't make it to the race, leaving the category empty for the second race in a row.

If no signficant participants will join this category for the next race, it will be cancelled for the remainer of the season.

ROAD CLASS

B2R Stiefla was the driver of the day in his AM Phoenix: the b2r driver managed to make the most of his car's strong points, taking the Pole Position before leading the race in dominant fashion from Lap 1 to the chequered flag!

A strong showing from Stiefla, who needs to capitalize on these faster tracks where his car excels the most, but he'll be put under big pressure on the tigther, slower courses!

Behind him, it was a close contest between the SG^Madjester-M@ci3k-S-Martin dynamic trio!
M@ci3k started in P2 and kept it for two laps, before running wide after the Telegraphe complex and allowing Madjester's orange Piran Firefly to get by.

S.Martin joined the party too, and the three of them proceeded very close for a few laps: on Lap 5 M@ci3k decided to attack Madjester, and the two of them started a very spectacular battle!

M@ci3k managed to make the move stick and flew away in P2, but the battle for P3 went on till the last few laps, with S.Martin trying to attack SG^Madjester on the straights, but falling short!

[PM] Jam 616 struggled a bit more in Blackwood, finishing one lap behind the leader!

Next monday the RETRO CUP circus will move to the exotic Fern Bay, for a very special round.
It will be the last race before the first break of the season, and it's going to be an important race for the championship!

A very different kind of circuit compared to the first two, more technical but with some dangerous high speed sections that will require precision and attention from the drivers, expecially in the chaotic moments of the race.
