1. Rather then controlling on/off I'd suggest keys for "Please give me a position report now" etc.
That way a player could safely disable the HUD and everytime he wants to know his position/remaining fuel/ahead-behind-gain-report/etc he either waits a while until LFSC tells him by itself or he presses the corresponding button.
2. Get your Pitspotter-support sorted. There might be a problem with the In Sim Close packet.
Pitspotter reconnects everytime the race restarts. But something messes up and after the racerestart LFS reports loads of "Packet recieved before ISI"-errors.

Vain
Thank you, I did not realise that was how pit spotter worked, I will look into the relay options and how the ISI packet is dealt with with an already open connection.

I think you're right on the toggling too, I will have a look at how easy it is to do that.

I have already fixed task switching btw, LFSC will re-initialise it's screen after an alt-tab, shift-f4 etc. Although you may (read: WILL!) have to click into the LFSC window for it to happen so that it becomes the active window (geeks can figure out how I solved the problem from that ).
- volume down
+ volume up
Enter Immediate Position report
/ Immediate Ahead/Behind report
* lock radio to this car
numlock radio on/off (numlock light shows radio on/off status)
1 fuel reports on/off
2 lap reports on/off
3 split time reports on/off
4 position reports on/off
5 ahead behind gain reports on/off
6 pit stop reporting on/off
7 identify car on/off

I've left the toggles in place, many of them are only useable as toggles anyway, but position and ahead/behind i'll put in instant reporting and i'll look at the posibility of doing that for laps remaining too (needs more samples).
These are the things currently done:
No longer reports "cannot load fart file" if you remove unwanted backfire .wav files
Test insim at a lower refresh frequency to reduce CPU load if possible
Try to recapture graphics card RAM on Shift-F4/Alt-Tab scenario
Automate support for "Insim+Outguage" applications in the relay, such as LFS Display which also uses both systems.(not sure this is actually done, will check, LFS Display in particular wont work yet because it requires a different insim packet structure to LFSC - to be fixed later)
Cull radio messages after race starts

These are planned for the next release:
Realtime stats system - STCC/360/OWRL/Generic
Auto- launch LFS (drag and drop LFS program into window to set path)
Number Pad hooks to request specific information over the radio such as current position, gap to car ahead/behind, laps remaining, predicted fuel range and so on.
Improve compatability with the insim settings of other mods to improve versatility and inter-program compatability
Bug - Players with ^ control codes at end of their name but missing colour codes causing crash
Allow password entry for people running localhosts with password protected insim connections
Tuning Bay - LFS 0.5 U20
Drag & Drop configuration of Launch LFS button done, so that's definately in the next release
Partially done number pad keys, there's a few scancodes i'm unable to find and I need to get Andy to make some sound samples before it can be finished.
Erroneous ^ codes in player names bug fixed
Pit Spotter compatability tested, no longer gives ISI packet error after a restart.
All features implemented except the realtime stats & my suprise new mod, the tuning bay...

Could it be tonight?
I think I love you a little. Thanks for this great tool. Tuning bay? I'm curious what that exactly is.
Tonight? Oh yes, please!!!!!!!!
I have almost finished the generic live timing, hopefully doing the two league systems requested wont be so hard now i've done one of them. I honestly dont think i'll get the tuning bay done until tomorrow though but maybe I will stay up late to finish it off.

At some point I ought to practice for my OWRL race this weekend... *gosh* for which i've done absolutely no practice at all, what-so-ever...
Live Timing system finished (didn't do the OWRL tracker for now as it's non-urgent).

So just my suprise tuning bay to go and then it's done
