I remember seeing at least one post about this somewhere but I can't find it.

Anyway, the deal is that my monitor has a maximum resolution of 2304x1440. However, the maximum official resolution on my 6800GT 128MB is 2048x1536. I'd like to add the 2304x1440 resolution to the registry so that LFS sees it and allows me to select it. Any help with this would be great.

I should note that I've already tried adding it in the NVIDIA drivers, however that only made it available as a desktop resolution. LFS still doesn't see it.

LFS would properly read the resolutions as long as your driver allows it. I know that most Nvidia drivers from their site won't give you the fullest and highest resolutions that your monitor supports. Usually you gotta go with some custom drivers like Omega or something. Maybe even post about it in those group's forums.

Would be the easiest alternative at least I'll bet there is some resolution hack program out there that you could get... but I am just assuming so.
