does anyone know how to do this? because right now i have an MP3 CD player, and want to replace it with the original tape player so i can run a wire tape through for my Ipod

but is there really any general way of doing this? because i just found the tape player deck, and it has a screw in the back of it, so how exactly do i remove center console decks?

centre console can be a proper pain in the ass when trying to remove radios etc. tbh, you best bet is either to get the proper specialist tools, or make a quick visit to a car audio shop who most likely have alot of experience in removing them.

Get a Haynes manual that tells you how to do it, if you can't find the screw points yourself?

Get an old spanner, heat it with OxyAcetylene and bend it to a right angle. Then you can undo the nut on the back.

2 wrists and 3 small elbows would be a bonus, but there is no shortcut. You could take the whole dash out, but I wouldn't recommend it.

lol afterwards i pulled out the sheet you know the one that they stick on the windows that has all the information and whatnot

it turns out; not only was the car $21,000 (cant even imagine what its worth now.. maybe like $1,000) .. lol and i looked at the gas mileage, and in fine print it had 13 mpg, to the average one (the large numbers) it had a highway of 21... yea right lol
