OcUK Racing will be going through a re-jig shortly and we were thinking of celebrating the rebirth with a one-off XRR only endurance event at Blackwood.

Main points...

• The race would be a 3 hour event for teams of 2 drivers.
  
• Qualifying to include both drivers, with the average of their fastest laps deciding grid position.
  
• No resetting or shift+s, if you end up in a state where you can't continue your race is over.
  
• No penalties for chatting, everyone has the option to block messages after all.
  
• Time and day of event TBA.
  
• Prize for the winning team will be 1 years 'Silver plan' webhosting kindly donated by Byethost.com.
  

Obviously if there's no interest the event won't go ahead, please reply if you are interested in competing or if you have any questions/thoughts.

I like the idea of driving the XRR, tried to find a teammate for that in LFS GT but most people preferred the FZR. I expect it will be difficult to find a team mate for this one.

You can do 1 hour per stint easily with the xrr, so that makes it planning a bit hard (one driver has to 2 hours, the other one 1). 4 hours would be better (and that could at least be called endurance, I've done plenty of 6h races with 2 drivers).

If the race goes on, I'll try to find a teammate for this.

I would certinaly be intrested would need to find a partner though, ive been driving this car alot recently seeing as i cant drive the FZR to save my life and im getting quicker all the time, so count me in

Nice to see some XRR only races imo the car is very underused

And how do driver changes and stuff work
