hello, im Afonso and im portuguese.

I love LFS simulator, and i was trying to do more then racing...did skins...open my pc as Demo-server ( non- dedicated...then dedicated) using only lfs s2 alpha 0.5p.
-Now...the problem is that i want to do a dedicated server, using "Live for Speed S2 ALPHA 0.5P DEDICATED HOST", and i did...no problems there; but the problem is with insim...i dont get it!! i must be an dumn ass, but thats the true. I just want to use " Race manager " ...you know... )) but doesnt work....I have tried everything..im dont get it...i open server...then..type: /insim=6392 or 29999 or 50000 ) and when i put the same port nº of the server makes an error....when i put 29999...but its not the server port...i does nothing....seem like its working...i then open racemaneger...and shows in server " something...Bind failed...and some nºs...like....6 or more messages, that shows on server...and of course that i go to server and race manager isn´t working..........no best laps...no blue flags... (( help.
Im not very good in this things....for me isnt just self-explainatory....ups..see my english isnt the best too....thanks for pacience.

Can you give us any more details - what does the error say exactly?

To be honest, I'm not 100% sure that theres a release of RaceManager for S2 yet - although I really dont know, as I dont use it.

Bind failed is usually that the app is not able to open the port (due to the port allready is open)

IIRC you must specify the Insim-port to be used in the command line/cfg file to your dedi host, then use that number when yo start race manager.

thanks...loll...i´ve resolve it... just open lfs.....create game....dedicated server.... and go.
then....type " T " to talk, right?.....write : " /insim=29999 thats the race manager port.....press enter. ok?
then just start lfs race manager and start the marchal, the qualify manager, etc,etc...and it will work.
