While I did a virus check, the anti-virus was hangging in the restore folder.

I found the folder and it was almost 3 gig ..... can I just delete it?

Is there a certain way to get ride of it?

No you can't just delete it you have to turn the system restore for all drives OFF in the system properties and restart windows.
