I get very low pings to all the servers I try race on, but I keep disconnecting. This just happened last weekend for no apparent reason. Anybody got any clues???

Needs more info. Type of internet connection / local network setup would be a good start.

I'm with tiscali in uk. Broadband 2mb. I get the problem through both wired and wireless connection. Using Netgear router which I've reset after discovering problem but its still there.

Tiscali have confirmed they have no port restrictions.

Strange one, restoring to earlier in year doesnt work either.

With more and more people getting the max adsl in the UK, you could well be affected by contention at you local exchange. Nothing you can do about it sadly apart from waiting for BT to add new hardware to the exchange.

www.samknows.com might give an idea of how full your exchange is, but I'm not sure how up to date the info is.
