hi there. i am wanting to set up a dedicated server for my team to drift in. (demo server).when i load up the lfs.exe in the dedicated server folder it comes up with this:

HOST NAME

?

how do i change 'HOST NAME' to TDJ Drift Session ?

here is a copy of my host63392.txt:

You need to edit the setup.cfg file. The host file is there for debugging and other purposes.

u can use DediGUI NG for setting up a server (demo, s1 or s2)...
so just check it out!

it has a nice graphical user interface, so its easy to handle

but it seems that your server can't connect to the master server!
so maybe you didn't opened all neccessary ports!

oh ok i have downloaded it now and i can run servers. my next question is:

when i get the server running it displays my player name '[TDJ]NZLPWR' as the host so when i want to join i have to change my name to something else... so can i change the name the host has?

I dont know anything about this, but have you tried changing ur game name to something like 'Host', starting the server, and then joining with your usual name? might work.
