Hi guys.
Today I tried to update my Audigy 2zs driver as there's a new one out. When I tried to install the driver it said that it could not detect my soundblaster. This is weird because I've got all my music programs configured to play through creative asio, everything was working properly, in the sounds and audio devices box in the control panel it indicated creative audigy etc... So I created a system restore point, and uninstalled the old driver. Then I tried to reinstall the original drivers from the CD. "Can't detect soundblaster, make sure everything's connected properly bla bla"... I've checked, the card is securely screwed in. I'm at a loss... no sound. And reverting to the old restore point, it doesn't go back to the old driver. Help!
I can't imagine why it's not picking up the card?
Any techies out there willing/able to shed some light on the matter?
