I was thinking of how it would be a nice feature to be able to pause a replay, and then have LFS render it at a higher resolution then you can display, higher quality, and really high FSAA. I am not really suggesting that the devs put this in, because there are lots of other things to be solved/added. All I am saying is "wouldn't it be cool if..."
+1 for a super duper high quality replay screenie button
+1 for mini fridge, I mean yes the button pauser of the replay.
and a rewind button
Fine (not an actual ) suggestion. Would cut the hassle of changing settings in the control panel (basically quitting the game) every time you wanted a higher quality image of something. Maybe an option to choose output resolution as well would be handy.
That's how I would do it:
  1. Press pause
  2. Go to options and change res to 1600x1200
  3. Shift-F4
  4. Go to nVidia control panel, set AA/AF
  5. Shift-F4, again
  6. Take super duper high quality screenshot
Problem solved

Well, what if I am on a computer with integrated graphics, and I want a picture with AA? I meant like how 3dsmax renders.

Same thing. I have integrated graphics and I have AA/AF. Integrated graphics does have their own graphics chip. Integrated just means the chip is on the motherboard rather than a separate card. Though, I don't know how old your PC is. The old Intel Extreme Graphics integrated was crap. Now, NVidia and ATI are putting chips on motherboards for integrated and they use the same drivers as the separate cards do. I can run 16/16 AA/AF if I wanted to. It wouldn't run very well, but I can set it that way.
Aren't there programs that can do this for you? Like ones that are used with hotkey combinations to change specific video presets you've made? Even some ATI or Nvidia drivers come with something similar to this, don't they?

So boom, pause, hotkey, take screenshot!

Well I have a x1600PRO, I was just stating a scenario. How about you press a button, LFS saves the locations of the cars, and then you go back later to render it with raytracing!

I haven't tested out using hotkeys, but I know that sometimes when I change settings from the control panel, they don't actually take effect ingame. I don't know whether this is a fault of LFS or ATI's but it's a little annoying, as I end up having to restart the computer to get anti-aliasing to kick in, for eg.

Is that even possible? I'm just asking.
