Last night (sunday 15th) I had a great race with my mate in our fave config of cars, the RA on Kyoto National Reverse... not your most popular config I'll agree there

The race was over 6 laps, which was just about possible on the Super Road Tyres. I managed to build up a 9 second lead, but at the cost of my tyres, so when I came in for the mandatory pit stop I was a long way behind with him yet to stop. He came in for his stop, AND DIDN'T NEED TYRES! grrr! BUT when he left the pits he came off the limiter too soon! muhhahaha DRIVE THROUGH PENALTY!

Anyway to cut a long story short, the video tells the tale from the moment he rejoins the race from his drive through penalty.

It's just a bit of fun I knocked up in a few hours last night when I really should have gone to bed, I'm knackered at work today!!

For those that don't know, the track is called SLAM by Pendulum and is the opening track from the album Hold Your Colour (color, whatever) and it's a SUPERB album if you're into that stuff

Well done, well done. I really liked the camera work wich was very smooth and fluent, making it look realistic. I didn't really like the constant blurry look from the glow (BorisFX?) and the blurred black bars though, that's my only neg nag.

My tip for a fast movie like this one, you could rather make it look strong than dreamy.

Couldn't agree more, luckily i've saved the vegas file, so will find an alternative to the bars, want something to 'frame it' though.. blur is wind noise.. will take that away too. It's much easier to see what you dont like about it AFTER you've bloody encoded it!

This video is cool,hey first time i enjoy a racing video as much as a good drift one,music fits perfect imo.

I really like that. Never thought i would say that beings as whenever i use the RA it spins!!!!!!! argh.
