this week when i started LFS it said cant read data/skins/XFG_DEFAULT and i lost 20 skins whats happening

Whats happening?
Sounds to me like you are running LFS from within the compressed file. Did you unzip the LFS download to a folder?
Just in case you don't know how to do that, save the downloaded file to your desktop. Then right click on the downloaded file, select "Extract to LFSblahblah" or "unzip to LFSblahblah". You will see a folder appear called the same as the file was. In that folder is where you run LFS from. You can move this folder to where ever you want, the desktop, my documents, program files.....
That is just incase, if you are not all computer savvy. Many folks have tried to run it from within the compressed downloaded file before.
