I havnt played GPL for years now, i keep hearing it being mentioned and wasnt even aware it is still available....... Just had a quick look on a couple of websites and seen some failry good mods for newer cars and wings.....

Is it worth me rebuying this game?????? Can i still get a copy????

I believe there was a free version going around that was approved by Papy. It lacked content but that is easily injected by just adding tracks etc. Someone might know where to grab it still....

there's a cpu speed fix which is essential for it to run properly, and then abbout 50 gig of updated graphics and tracks, cars, textures, racing series, sounds, the list is endless! Still one of the finest (and hardest) racing games ever to hit a pc.

gpl is ancient...
n2003 is way better option if u want papy stuff.

It's a classic piece of racing sim history, and really enjoyable even today.

GPL is pure class. Abselutely worth the few pounds.

GPL is still the grandad of all racing sims, plain and simple. Yes it's old, but it's still absolutely brilliant.

Download the GPL 2004 Demo, you now have everything in the full GPL fully updated both graphically and to run on XP. If you like it (which you will ) you can buy the disc for a fiver and copy the tracks folder across, install some high res updates and enter (the Green) Hell

I guess you cannot drive this with a mouse... it doesn't even accept any changes in controls... even it is waiting for a new key... damn thing doesn't even let you switch to windows
