The online racing simulator
automatic view roll controlled by g forces
i miss one thing about head movement simulation, te view roll. i mean for example when you are inside a right turn steering right, the centrifugal force trying to move your head to the left, but you automticly react with rolling your head to the right.
i dont think it would be a big deal to combine the already made view roll in shift u mode with the g forces.
what do you think?

hre is an example picture of how would it look like (in drifting :P )

Eughhh that'd make me sick!!!! heheh. Well it would certaintly add to the g-force effects, so I can agree with this suggestion. Would make the head move more 'lifelike', rather than have a spine glued to the chassis

the only reason I dont use head turn to wheel, is because I dont feel the car that way... IMHO that would be a nice, but useless improvement
It's actually a good idea, since it tries to simulate what a driver does IRL anyway.

well i dont use the head turn with wheel either while drifting, since i spin my steeringwheel really fast, so i couldnt see a thing that way. but roll option would be nice and im absoulutely sure i would use it

The driver already submarines in the seat (go up the eau rouge section of aston in the bf1 if you dont kno what i mean) so having this would be a nice idea although i would like someway to turn it off if i didnt like it lol.
Would certainly be interesting to try out.
The basic idea here isn't wrong, just needs some refinements. For instance, the tilt angles should be less extreme so you don't feel as if the world has suddenly tilted around. And how much the head turns left or right should be somewhat correlated with the steering angle as well, since IRL we tend to naturally steer towards where we look at and want to turn to. This allows us to look where we want to look whilst driving.
Lol, just tilt your head when you turn your wheel/other controller

Not sure if I'd ever use it, but I'd give it a go though.

In real world when head is rolled, the mind compensates. That way it doesn't feel/looks odd, but on screen it would.

In LFS the compensation could be done with decreasing the density / aggressiveness of the effect.

I find it the other way, with head turn enabled I know where the car is going. I have my multipler for it set to 1.1 as well
