Hi, just wondering if theres any way to extract the setup from a car in an SPR? I know all the info is there, as you can test drive.

Just that i was TD'ing the WR for FOX @ WE Int, and i'd like to get the set so i can practise more in single player before hot lapping.

Anyone any ideas, or know where i can get that setup?

Ask the person who created the setup. Extracting set's from [SM]PR's is bad form old chap, dontcha know! Pip pip!

Absolutely faptastic gents! All terribly british here, what what? Terribly sorry, didn't know it was bad form, i'll do my best to use my cunning to work out how to replicate by using only my senses.

Which would be quite a good challenge actually. I upload a replay, with a custom setup, everyone tries to replicate it! Any good?

Setup info in SPR files is encrypted so cannot be viewed directly (without breaking the encryption anyway).

And yes, it's not supported here, that's why the devs went through the bother of encrypting the info in the first place (in very early versions of LFS this info was not encrypted and setup "stealing" was all too easy).

Has anyone tried uploading a hotlap saved while test driving a setup from someone else's hotlap? I've noticed that it seems to save replays no problem while test driving o.O

Just seems cheap x 10^5 to upload a hotlap with someone else's skin and name, much less their setup heh
