People often have completely different brake bias and thus, different brake strenghts... Someone likes to trailbrake wide into the corner (as in complete opposite of the "advice" in the post before), and somebody else wants to finish his braking before turning... It also depends on how quick you shift down... So, even if we'd know what car you're talking about, there is no way we could help you finding your brake setup, because it's completely up to your driving style...
Also bear in mind that in a downforced car, you can use stronger brakes at higher speed, because the added load on the tire helps keeping it rolling (not locking up) and that you have to ease off the brakes with your speed (and thus downforce) decreasing...
