New raceabout
I just stopped by the website for the real Raceabout (http://www.raceabout.fi/) and I noticed that LFS is using the 2002 model, when a new version has come out. The styling has changed a little (I think the old one looked better), but more importantly it's got a more powerful engine now (+17 Kw, +60 Nm), and apparently a redesigned rear suspension. It weighs 5 Kg less, too.

So Scavier, where's my new RAC?
I like rac but i havent race with it, just a few laps on single player, its really cool.
Depends what deal the devs have with those crazy Finnish students, I suppose.

I wish they do make a deal for new improved RAC as it would get just enough performance boost to make it closer to FZ50. If that proves to be too much then FZ50 could get a bit of improvement too (suspesion?) and both cars could match LX6 bit better.

About RAC vs FZ5 comparison I'm talking from league experience: www.racelfs.co.uk. With Vince in FZ5 and Hannu in RAC, and other good drivers, those results are as good as they could be. FZ5 is currently better on every track except South City.

But the LX6 rules them all on most tracks right? Or are you saying the FZ5 is clearly better than the RAC? Seems true anyways, because the FZ50 is the 2nd best of the LRF class in my opinion, and the RAC just struggles with snap oversteer and setup-induced understeer, it just isn't as "sporty" as I thought it would be.

The RAO5 would keep up I bet though.
Sounds good to me, sort the RAC, leave the FZ50 as is, and sort of the aerodynamics of all cars which should drop the top speed on the LXs. Would be pretty balanced then.

The top speed already loses enough in the LX versus the FZ50. The LX is just better at handling and grip. And you can't nuke the LX's speed and grip to match the other cars, you'd have to make the FZ50 handle slightly better, and the RAC have a big overhaul to keep up Though I have never though of the LX6 as being in a class of sportscars, it outperforms the two. I personally think the FZ5 and RAC are in a class of their own. But hell, if the FZ50 can be made to handle better, that'd actually make me drive it for once, and probably enjoy myself (same goes for RAC)

Had a look at these pictures again.. WHO SAID IT LOOKS UGLIER? I want it, I want it.. what is Eric doing?

EDIT: Current Raceabout is cool too, but the new one would be nice.. both clocks look nice in a different way.. but Raceabout2005 is more sportlike.
