I have jsut downloaded a sound addon called csr, i have heared what the cars should sound like in game with this new addon, but the cars all sound the same as when i ran CSR, what am i meant to do to put these car sounds in game ?

Right InSim port? CSR doesn't come with sound packs for all cars, as well.

not InSim, OutGauge!

that thread doesnt help me, i need a download with instructions to change the car sounds to how they are on CSR?
i see in that thread people are saying that the sounds are better, what download adds these different sounds and where do they go ?

Well with the links in the first post of that thread you should be able to get new car sounds in the FZR and the BF1. For other cars we have a car sounds pack thread around here too.

And then follow the instructions in my post for the all cars soundpack.

I have downloaded the csr it has an fxo bf1 sounds etc right... i found the sounds for cars ( default ) in user files so i copied the costom sounds and pasted them over the default sounds, still no different, id try the method you said but i dont know where those folders are

where is the readme_eng txt folder ? the instructions arent that helpful

I followed the instructions on that page and it works like a dream for me.

It's not just a case of installing it and it working. There are steps you need to take and files you need to edit if you want it to work. If there are files in the car folder it means you have sounds for it. In fact I think the most recent update comes with a full set anyway (although I don't like the default FXO).

Make sure you have read and followed all of the instructions to the letter. You'll only need to do it once.

Ok. I'll start from the beginning.

Install CSR into a directory. Say C:\Program Files\LFS_S2_ALPHA_U

Then Download and Extract my Soundpack into here: C:\Program Files\LFS_S2_ALPHA_U\CSR

Overwrite original files. READ THE README's of CSR and my Soundpack.

You need to change your outguage settings to hear the sounds in LFS.

CSR doesnt appear when i go to put the sound pack into it

Have you even got the CSR program? If you do, you need to run it with LFS.

ofc i have got csr, its in my lfs folder, but when i go to put the soundpack into c:/local disk/lfs alpha/ CSR <- isnt there only folders are. i ignored it and done the rest like changing the outgauge lines, i ran csr, ran lfs, no difference except the game needed to be redone like controls etc?

also where do i save alternative showrooms and loading screens ?

Dont worry, ive got it working =] anyone got new sounds for cars other than fxo fz5 fzr ?
