i dont know where to post this, but how come i cant use image tags to put my sig on here?

Images are not allowed in signatures. Not many people round here want them either.

If you want to have a personalised image representing yourself, I suggest you make use of the avatar.

not really; i hate how long they take to load, every forum that does have them i just turn them off because i dont want to sit around for a while waiting for it to load up all the pictures (no its not i have slow internet (which i dont) its just that it takes much longer for the computer to actually load them and by then your like.. screw it) so... thats why

plus people usually put to many, or make them to big, or... its just pointless of having them, i hate them personally

And I have to agree with everyone else about not having images in signatures. They serve no useful purpose outside being extremely irritating and causing the page to take too long to load. Even worse are animated .gifs in signatures. Thank Christ for Adblock.

I do agree though, signature pics are lame, its not that they make the page load slow (got 10mbit cable?), its that they distract from the actual posts. You get a bunch of huge signatures in a thread and its hard to actually read it.

Pictures in signatures don't bother me simply because on any forum that has them allowed I simply turn them off in my CP.

forums were not made for people to show off their photoshop skills... unless its a photoshop skills forum

we've answered your question; no one wants them because they are a waste of bandwidth, and a great source of security (no... not virus security), but personal security; i've seen plenty of forums where people get in fights due to certain content on a signature picture
