Redline racing have asked if we could do something about the tyres getting hit onto the track at Fern Bay club.

This could be fix with a barrier or hay bail.
The problem with that i see is 1 little mistake and your race is over and you could go flying back on the track. The way it is now would be safer i think.

With the amount of good drivers that are doing it no one should be hitting the tyres that badly so i think the more tyres that are in that corners the worst the accident is going to be

Because the person hitting the tyres can just go through and the person behind usually hits a tyre and spins out, I think barriers or hay would be a good idea. It would mean whoever cuts too much would be taking themselves out instead if the people behind. The downside is if if's a really bad hit they can flip back on track and take the whole field out. But with good drivers there shouldn't be such a major accident.

If this would be public racing and not league racing somekind of barrier could be ok, but we have a league here with estabilished teams, so I´m sure everyone knows how to drive there and the tires whouldn´t be a problem here.

No extra layouts. Tires rolling onto the track are a rare occurance. And almost always avoidable if you take caution and keep an eye out. The tires are like any usual debris in a race, there is no need to try and hold them back. Keep it lightweight and default, and don't add extra objects.... that just adds to bigger accidents imo.

No thank you Tyres on track is just something that racers have to deal with in such a race! I think every driver in this league should be able to deal with such problems

there will be no Track modification

I like the tires rolling out onto the track. It adds to the race.

You know the warning signs on the ground are real hazards as well.

LOL once I racing TBOs on ashton Cadet and some dude behind me hit one of those signs. I saw it happen in the mirror. Anyways the damn thing goes flying up in the air forward and some how manages to nail my car right on the hood.

Also, The tires are a basic personality trait of LFS, It's a distinctive quirk that separates it from the same ol same ol.

LOL Who knows, maybe in S-3 we could have simulated race officials that jumped out on the track to retrieve the tires too :drevil:
