The League Of The Americas, the premiere LFS racing organization for the Western Hemisphere, presents various leagues for the Live For Speed drivers in the Americas. Formula V8's, Formula XR's, Micro-GTR's, Team Competitions, Rally, and the CHOPS Sunday Cup provide LFS racers in the Americas quality racing in a well organized and maintained league.
LOTA was founded in 2006 by members of four North American based LFS teams (Banshee56 from CoRe Racing, bdshan from Land Of The Free Racing, Zolt from BlackSheep SimRacing, and lambchop44 from CHOPS Racing Canada) from in an effort to provide a racing organization that is committed to the long term. Live For Speed, with its community-base largely in Europe, provides a medium for close, highly contested online competition. With quality LFS leagues for this part of the world fading, LOTA's founding members saw the need to step up and give the Western Hemisphere community the racing leagues they deserve.
Through the commitment of the League Officials, The League Of The Americas has access to (4) North American based 23-connection LFS Servers hosted by 500Servers.com and provided by CoRe Racing and Land Of The Free Racing, a 25-connection Ventrilo server provided by CoRe Racing, and a fully owned and operation web presence, including forums, and an integrated Racing League Management system desiged for automated league registration and race communication. LOTA is committed to provide quality, exciting LFS racing for many seasons to come!
