Windows XP 32-bit and 64-bit on one machine
Hi Guys.

I've got a new dual core 64-bit jobby for xmas and just wondering one thing before I waste my last unlock.

I have both XP 32-bit and XP 64-bit installed. Can I stick LFS on a seperate partition and only use one unlock? Or do I need to run LFS in just 32 bit windows (logitech have no 64 bit drivers for the Momo)

Cheers,

Nick

EDIT: Reason being I used to have a similar setup but LFS would need to be unlocked every time...
LFS uses the OS "fingerprint" as part of the unlocking system. So if you're planning on running LFS in 2 different OS', I suggest using 2 separate copies.
Ah, ok fair enough. I'll have to try to develop something / find something that will keep the skins & setups folders in sync!

Cheers!

Nick
synctoy, rsync for windows, a xcopy/robocopy script that runs on boot, etc.?

xp64 is a strange OS in that MS themselves do not treat it as a "first grade" OS for mainstream support etc. They only released it by force to eep all the AMD64 users happy and would have prefered to roll 64bit with Vista only. Hence the lack of driver support.

That said you have enough unlocks to unlock on both, you just can't use both online at the same time. Not an issue though as dual boot
