Setup changes at driver switch
I'd like to see something at WORLD that would allow me to set a "team member" or alternate driver for my car. Then, when they connect to take over for me at an endurace event they can have acces to my f12 to set their own pit changes. The f12 commands would only be visible to them or course.

LFS is exactly working like the way you described above - (or I don't understand what you wrote)

When I take over someones car in an endurance race, then I can change F11 (player specific brake balance etc.) and F12 (change fuel, tires etc.) The way I need it for that part of the race.
What i mean is for the guy who's gonna take over from you, if he wants a turn or two taken out of his wings, that needs to be set before you pit for his takeover.

So either he has to tell you & you gotta set it for him before you pit next OR he has to takeover, do a lap to make the f12 changes then pit again to have them adjusted.

BTW I was just thinking that it would be settable through world, but upon further consideration it might be easier to have a "teammate" box somewhere in the options screen where the lfsname of your approved takover-er could be entered.

an option to change sets when switching drivers would be good. as a keyboard user its hard to just swap drivers as a lot of the fundamental parts of the handling/setup need to be different.

Then all changes should add pitstop time too accordingly. Change springs and dampers and it really starts cost some time
Yes, of course just like they do now.

The point is really so that the current driver dosen't have to do it. IRL the pit crew would already know what to change and driver1 dosen't have to do anything for driver2 except bring the car onto pit lane.
You can't change springs or dampers in a pit stop now, that would be something new. But if you wanted a complete setup change even miracles workers would leave you stuck in the pits for 10 to 15 minutes, is it really worth it?
I know.

All I'm getting at is that if a driver on my team is going to takeover my seat during a race AND that driver has personal preferences re:handling (that are changeable from the current f12 menu), then I don't want him to have to tell me what he likes and then I have to remember them AND find a safe time to set them for him sometime during my stint.

I think it would be better if he had access to my f12 menu and could log onto the server during my in-lap and set my f12 to his own personal preferences. Then the pit crew would take as much time as necessary during the handover stop to make the adjustments requested.
+1
+1 if it really is limited to what you can edit now with F11-F12 (with the added time to actually change the values as a penalty, of course)...

But you'd have to be able to edit all those values (read: control and thus view of the setup) before the actual pitstop, which could be exploited and isn't possible sometimes due to endurance leagues often using all available spots for drivers...
+1 but a full pit menu thats accessible from outside of the server by the team leader for driver specific adjustments and on the fly strategic changes would be better
Teammates could be able to access/set it at LFSW then, to not require a slot on the server?
