I got some friends that are interested in LFS, but they don't have the wheel, and the whole idea for mouse control is ridicolous to them, so i was wondering what are the best settings if they use keyboard for driving?
If someone can post a screenshot or something like that, i would apreciate it..

It's a matter of taste actually, cause I have changed mine lots of times.

The best thing you could is show them this link http://en.lfsmanual.net/wiki/Options#Mouse.2FKeyboard which explains what is the purpose of each setting. And then, tweak the settings to suit your friends needs.

Here are my last used kb settings. I use a wheel now though

I thought that there are some general settings that are good for everyone, but it seems that we shall try and find the best ones for them. We will try from your settings and see how it feels.. thanks again.

a higher return rate than steer rate makes it really crazy imo
...and you also use keyboard-no help? oO

however, those settings are really personal, but generally higher values are better because of quicker reation times - that is, if you can still control the car and keep it smooth.

my settings, which I consider prefect for me, even though I often change certain things to optimize for special cars or setups...
keyboard-stabilized
steer rate: 0.70-0.75
return rate: 0.55-0.60
button rate: 0.60
limit multi: 0.80

steering -> max lock in the setup is always maximum btw

for Town rev XRT I used 0.80 steer rate and 0.70 return... (<- reminder for myself )
