I dont know if this is the right place to post this kind of thing but here goes

I am planning a movie in which I and my 2 Team mates will compare 3 cars,
they will be XRT, FXO, RB4 or FZ5, LX6, RAC...
we havent yet agreed as it is still only in the "idea" stage.
what we have agreed on is that none of us should test it's speed qualities
When it will come to a racetrack lap we will need a independent racer
the one who has no favourite among those cars, and who could do a lap of a test track very quick.
This will be a bit Top Gear'ish...but that's the way we would like it...
The autocross test track and the skins will be provided
The name will be credited, and the personal opinion on the cars will also be stated in the vid...

If you would bother making 3 replays for us - then leave a note here

Do you have a copy of the autox track and skins? I might not be the fastest but I would give it a go

Let me help you get started, I race alot with these three:

XRT
- RWD, rear tyres overheat in a long race and you get "rear end all over the place" steer
- RWD, great fun to drive
- faster acceleration, can overtake FXO at start, but slightly slower then RB4


FXO
- FWD, front tyres overheat in a long race and you get understeer while the rear tyres get just about right.
- FWD, no fun to drive when tyres overheat, it corners like a train
- painfully obvious fastest cornering speeds
- slower acceleration, other two cars will get the first corner


RB4
- 4WD, no major problem with overheating
- 4WD, rally champion
- lower top speed, slower on longer tracks
- great cornering, great stability, can be faster then XRT on smaller tracks
- slightly faster acceleration then XRT, can overtake FXO with ease at start


I hope this comparison will be more professional then of those three comedians at Top Gear.

well I was driving this car in the stcc for a couple of months now and I disagree with your point. if you are pushing the car hard enough the front tyres overheat about the same amount as the rears, so I would say the tyre overheating is very balanced.

Just to get this straight, Linsen, are you saying you think the guys on Top Gear are funny?

I know it's a popular show, and so presumably some people think they're funny, but personally I've always found it to be a really sloppy, undisciplined, self-indulgent and incredibly un-funny show, in terms of the writing anyway. Some good cars I guess.

Well, it's all relative, I guess, and I bet you'd find it funny too if you knew what german car programmes are like (was there a vomiting smiley somewhere? Too lazy to look now :tilt.
