Hi all, got my first 'media pass' for a motorsports even on Friday, that meant I could go in front of the big fence that surrounds the track and get some nice angles.... gold dust to any budding MS photographers!

Was a tame days 'racing' mostly just tuning and tweaking, as there was still a bit of snow and slush everyone was taking it easy.

Mixed in with the testing there was a track day for others to run, they got 20 minutes every hour

Some cool action shots there, just a shame there wasn't any decent sunshine to get the full effect of gleaming cars.

Although I'm sure with a little Photoshopping someone could fix that

what cam/lens you using? i need to get a decent telephoto but not too sure what to get.

Canon 350D with Sigma 50-500mm, also known as a BIGMA cos it's quite large!

What arcade game is this? Looks crappy, I can't see any suspension movement at all.

Nice shots! Instead of the "dodgey" angle, you should try experimenting with pictures like the one, I've attached. By tilting the picture in the right direction, you can bring more action to the shot

( The car is a BMW M3 with about 500 hp's - danish Special Saloon Car champion last year - outrunning a WTCC-spec Toyota Corolla - Track: Ring Djursland, Denmark )

I did a few times, took over 1400 photos so there's a lot of variety in there
