It there a way to play/ stream music that is on your hard drive onto your lfs server?

its nothing to do with LFS, but both you and the client would need to run extra software to do it

If you like to use winamp you could set up a shoutcast server.

unless your upload speed is insanely fast (several mbit/s), i'd avoid running a media server off of your internet connection while playing games as the media server will most likely suckup all of your upload bandwidth, unless you know what you are doing, and no offense, but i don't think you do.
